Richaed Medhust Independant Journalist

Richard Medhurst for those of you who don't know is a man born in Damascus Syria 1992 with an English father and a Syrian Mother. Both his parents served in United Nations Peacekeeping and Observer missions and were among the UN Peacekeepers awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1988. Owing to his parent's professional mobility, he has lived in Syria, Pakistan, Switzerland, and Austria. As a boy his school was bombed by the Western powers led by America so you can imagine his feelings. He speaks four languages fluently, English, French, German and Arabic. He's an excellent independent journalist and reports things others dare not do. Richard is known for his coverage of the Julian Assange extradition case in London, as one of the only journalists to report on the trial of the WikiLeaks founder from inside the court. He has also covered the Iran nuclear deal talks on the ground in Vienna. A man of our time and most certainly has my respect.
