Our mad mad mad world.

I was going to make this into a video on YouTube but I know it would be immediately taken down, so I'll take my chances here.
Let me just say this is just my opinion based on what information I believe, I can believe in, and those whose opinions I trust.

We live in a world where nothing can be believed any more, whether that's by chance or by design we just don't know and the problem is, the information war, a war attacking our very rights and beliefs, they are being eroded day by day. Individuals are being berated and even prosecuted for spreading mis-information.
The EU wants to shut down misinformation, this is just a cover-up for what they ultimately want. In fact they want to shut down alternative views and politics itself. The actual misinformation is coming directly from MSM and the oligarch institutions like the EU.

The global information war is now in full swing. Several versions of reality are clashing with each other more and more openly. Societies and individuals choose for themselves which reality to believe in. And then they live in it, as uncomfortable as it may be.

If we consider the "traditional way" in the spirit of good old fashioned common sense , there is only one reality. Only its descriptions and interpretations differ. That's why they presume that some people lie and others tell the truth. The roles can change. The whole question is, who can we believe in, or such circumstances.
We are living closer to the edge than we have been since the outbreak of WWII.
The middle East has been a powder keg for many years and the age old problems have never been solved, but today it's far more serious, a powder keg has escalated into a nuclear threat of unimaginable consequences.
World leaders from every corner are expressing their concern, Russia, China, Africa, South America ect ect. Biden and Sunak are on their way to Israel as I write.
There is a global feeling that Israel could do the unthinkable or as some put it, instigate "The Samson scenario" the choice of  self destruction and taking your enemies with you.
I'm sure most people remember the story of Samson.
He was captured, blinded, and enslaved by the Philistines, but in the end God granted Samson his revenge; through the return of his old strength, he demolished the great Philistine temple of the god Dagon, (at Gaza of all places,) destroying his captors and himself in the process. (Look it up if you don't believe me). It's just a story and not a prophecy, isn't it?
We, as ordinary human beings await the fate of our dithering masters in a world of utter confusion.....and some would say, that's by design.
What we need now are some cool heads and solid diplomacy.
Taking sides is not the answer, just ask anyone who has intervened in a marital argument, both will turn on you with a vengeance.
We are living in a rapidly changing world and possibly a brighter future but there are those who would sacrifice that for pride and pride can be the most deadly of the seven deadly sins.
There are two kinds of pride, both good and bad. 'Good pride' represents our dignity and self-respect. 'Bad pride' is the deadly sin of superiority that reeks of conceit and arrogance and arrogance goes hand in hand with Hubris which will ultimately lead  to Nemesis and that is exactly what the world does not need right now.

Of course this is all just my opinion, nothing more, what do I know?
