Critical thinking

I've often wondered why I've tended to think differently than most people and that's not something I brag about. In fact it's always been a bit scary being a lone voice. However, in recent years I've discovered others who are similarly gifted/afflicted and they also felt isolated until talking to similar people.
Last year I came across a university that was compiling research into why people think differently than others and completed a very long survey and I completely forgot about it.
A few days ago I received this reply:

Thank you so much for completing the survey on the Truth University website concerning the factors that caused you to be 'awake'.   I do apologise tor the delay in getting back to you but am delighted to now convey the exciting findings from this research.

You were among many people to complete the survey - thank you again - you can find the results in the 30 or so pages attached, taken from the book  Light Bulb Moments and the Power of Critical Thinking  that included these findings.

As you will see, the survey findings demonstrate the presence in 'awake' people of a  unique mindset, triggered by a number of factors.  What is more, 'awake' people appear to share certainly personality traits including the 'Intuitive' as against the Sensing type. As you may know, the MBTI personality test uses the term 'intuitive' to refer to a predisposition to perceive 'the world of possibilities' (as against the 'Sensing' person's tendency to simply perceive the world delivered by their five senses).
You will see from the pages attached (3 pdf files), that the presence of the 'intuitive' personality in 'awake' people is out of all proportion to the rather low incidence of this type in the wider population.  No wonder that they often feel separate from mainstream society and why they maybe treated as loners.
