Critical thinking in a world of lies.

I've been following Emil Cosman for some time now, he's a Romainian blogger who's quite obviously intelligent, articulate and very well informed, he's also a critical thinker who doesnt push his views on anyone, all he asks of you is to research everything and take nothing for granted in this crazy world of blatent lies and unimaginable propaganda. Please do take a look at this video where he asks you the viewer to listen to Roger Waters short video and consider his words. Taking sides in any war without first considering the history is at the very least naive, especially by being led down the primrose path of outrageous propaganda led by the way by Western leaders. My question is this; what is the purpose of the United Nations and what are they united in? It seems to me that their mantra of "Peace, dignity and equality on a healthy planet. Dialogue, not arms" has been somewhat corrupted by the blindness of taking sides. We are told that the world is fighting terrorism. Lets not forget the ANC in South Africa led by Nelson Mandela, the ANC at the time was considered a terrorist organisation until the world woke up to 'Apartheid' the rest is history. Now that is exactly what is going on in Palestine with the apartheid wall that Roger Waters mentions. Look it up, it's a fact. It appears that the only countries trying to get a ceasefire are China and Russia. It doesn't matter who brings a ceasfire, it just needs common sense to prevail and stop the slaughter of the innocents. I'm with Emil Cosman on this one. Don't take things for granted and question EVERYTHING.
